Two adverts for Haven Holidays, from around 1983.
The first advert features Bobby coming into the room wearing a sombrero and asking where they are going on holiday. Tommy extols the virtues of Haven’s 15 holiday parks.
Bobby: Right, Tommy, where are we going this summer, eh? Y Viva Espana.
Tommy: Forget it.
Bobby: What about this? (Through megaphone) Wakey, wakey, campers.
Tommy: Are we heck, we’re going here.
Bobby: Haven holidays, superb chalets and caravans on lively parks or quiet villages, entertainment. Rock on Tommy, that’ll do for me, book it, book, it
Tommy: Which one?
Bobby: Which one?
Tommy: Yeah. There are 15 around England and Wales.
Bobby: We’re only going away for two weeks.
Voiceover: Haven Holidays. Just what you’ve been looking for.
The second advert has Tommy giving the benefits of a Haven holiday while Bobby keeps interrupting to give his own views.
Tommy: If you’re looking for a change from the usual holiday…
Bobby: …and here’s something that’s really different.
Tommy: Haven holidays
Bobby: There’s fifteen of them.
Tommy: Just keep quiet. Superb chalets and caravans on big parks or small villages deep in the countryside
Bobby: Baa, baa
Tommy: Or by the seaside.
Bobby: Squalk, squalk.
Tommy: What’s that?
Bobby: It’s a seagull.
Tommy: Haven holidays.
Bobby: It’s just what you’ve been looking for.
Tommy: You ruined it now.
Bobby: I haven’t. I haven’t. I haven’t. It were good, that.
Voiceover: Haven Holidays, just what you’ve been looking for.
