Bobby Ball tragically died of Covid in Blackpool Victoria Hospital late on Wednesday 28th November 2020. He was 76 years old. His death was widely reported by all major newspapers and TV stations.

On the following day, Friday 30th October, all the national newspapers included tributes to Bobby, with some featuring him on the front page.
TV Shows
Rock on Tommy: The Bobby Ball story was commissioned and shown in November 2020.
Their 1985 show “The Best of Cannon and Ball” was also shown on TV as a tribute.
Memorial Statue
A memorial statue to Bobby is sited in Lowther Gardens, Lytham St Annes.
Some of the funding for the statue was raised from the Rock On concert and The Bobby Ball in November 2021.
