It was laughs all round at Pennine Studios in Lancashire when Tommy Cannon and Bobby Ball descended on the place to make their latest LP record Together, and the sound engineers and studio staff had never had quite such an entertaining job of work!
But the boys had to be serious sometimes, because the LP isn’t a comedy record. “We started out as singers,” said Tommy, “and we wanted to release an album which was quite serious for a change. Most of the songs on this record are straight, although there is the occasional comedy number.”
Well, we thought there would be!
